Enid & I
are getting a 2nd one of these today at 4:30pm.
Told Faye I was getting married a few minutes ago. She said, after a long pause, "you and Enid". "Erika", close enough. First time I really flat out told Faye about our relationship since my dad had never let her know. But, I asked if she was surprised, and she just said she had wondered before. I hope the news wasn't too exciting for her 97 year old heart. She asked if I thought I'd be happy ,and I said yes, I know I will. She said "yes, I think you will be too". Aw, love is in the air.

Aren't you already happy? it's like people ask "will you be happy if you get married to this person?" and its like you've been with that person for, I don't know, ions, and I'm guessing if there hasn't been that much unhappiness during that time, well, if this a question to gamble on in Vegas, I'd say put all the monay on the table, baby. no brainer. duh. of course you'll be happy! But Faye's 97, so we'll chock it up to "THE question of her generation!" :) Congratulations, again. How many times does this make it? 42?

I am so glad Cali legalized marriage amongst all loving couple. Long, frickin' overdue.
My daughter has had to endure some legal situations with she and her mate....all because they were not legally married.
