The International Cycling Union (UCI) granted Team Mitsubishi-Jartazi 'wild card' status Friday but as long as the Estonia-licensed team does not select Frank Vandenbroucke (who does have a 2008 UCI racing license, BEL19741106), winner of the 1999 Liège-Bastogne-Liège. The wild card status enables the team to be amongst the pool of Professional Continental teams that can be selected to ProTour races. The 33 year-old Belgian has had a chequered past, including personal problems that led to attempted suicide last fall, but the issue for the UCI is his possession of banned substance – Erythropoietin (EPO) – in 2002 while riding for Domo-Farm Frites. He was suspended by the bicycle federation of Flanders in 2002 as a result.

Today the UCI Licence Commission has granted 'wild cards' to the following 15 teams, for a period of one year: Slipstream Chipotle presented by H30 (USA). David Millar will ride and be part-owner of UCI Professional Continental Team Slipstream Chipotle presented by H30(also partly owned by George Hincapie). Shortly before the 2004 Tour de France, Millar confessed to using EPO, for which he was banned for two years.
As far as I know, Slipstream has no UCI restrictions on entering Mr. Millar in any of the races they plan on contesting.

by the looks of it neither does minnie
trifecta of the dingo post...
In dingo lingo "whack" is a noun or adjective. not a verb. FRACK, on the other hand, can be a noun, verb, adverb, adjective. So "Frack it and move on to summer" or "Spring is Whack." But a good idea about spring and summer!
damn, that mini is full of handsome juice!
your kitty has lips!
Because McQuaid is on crack?
It's the only possible explanation. Especially after today's round of silliness over Paris-Nice.
minnie was upset because his collar was whackly twisted...
wild dingo needs to send me a dictionary
minnie is a beautiful one and very athletic too...except he's getting old (17) and 50% of the time when he tries to get up on the counter, he hits half way and falls down...so sad
that is funny, it does looks like a lip or a wrinkle or something...
in dingo lingo we can say McQuaid is whack on crack
i LIKE "MQuaid is Whack on Crack!" you're getting dingo lingo!
my heart sank when i read minnie doesn't make all his jumps. you need to provide him props now...because if its normal for him to go up there, you don't want him getting hurt. Poor widdle minnie...
little guy has props, but he is in denial about missing those jumps, he'll will sit and stare at the counter a few minutes and then tries again, usually successfully...
Minnie needs a crash pad then! You're entire home should be covered in crash pads or props for kitties...
