something different

We went riding with our GoVegan dude who gently reminded us that perhaps we should cut back on the bad stuff. I think we'll visit
Che Flandria more often.

Michael and I went to Bruno's BBQ after the track day on Sunday. After all that snorting and grunting of the sprints, it hit the spot.

tonight mike and i had basil ice cream (from ici) and grappa which we had brought back from italia. I think it was important recovery food. i mean, isn't basil a 'superfood'?

There's a blog with some good veg recipes. I also really like Smitten Kitchen, though I can't say how healthy their recipes are (except the ratatoulle one -- I made a version of that on Sunday & it's really yummy, fast, easy and seems healthy enough).

I could go vegan like 90% of the time. But, every once in a while, I get the urge to feed myself on some nice, juicy flesh. Actually, I should say that I could go lacto-ovo - probably not full vegan.

Enjoy the fava beans!
