kern taper tip #2:
For dessert, we often go to the local video store with little plastic baggies. We go the the m&m machine and get 1 to 2 $0.25 little things of m&ms and then try to sneak out before the video workers eye us. In honor of our kern taper, we opted for a different more healthy kern like dessert: either watermelon for hydration purposes or cherries. We opted for the cherries which unfortuantely came to a grand total of $11.00. The kern taper is expensive. But, if you count the $9.00 x 2 mojito that we did not have, I guess we are ahead of the game by $7.00.

must you tell the world about our ziplock baggies!
i keep seeing cherry stands everywhere--gotta stop at one!
i bet they are cheaper(and better) at the outdoor stands...
I got me some Kern taper cherries sitting right on my desk. Of course, I now think I've eaten a few too many over the last couple of days...
ooh, too many cherries...
A ziplock baggie would keep me from losing at least two candies with every handful.
old ladies with ziplock baggies just shows how progressive you really are. "real" old ladies would use recycled baggies from the grocery produce. and the m&m's would surely fall all over the place in your purse because you'd forget to tie it shut.
thanks WildDingo, we feel better now
Panda-can't lose any m&ms, they only give you so much for a quarter
I bought cherries yesterday, too. They're heavily on sale at Safeway -- $3/lb. Gotta go back...
Are you sayin Kern is a cherry pickers race?
